Axel Berning, born 1971 in Germany, is Managing Director of Webasto Luxembourg as of September 1^st, 2023. In his role he is responsible for the Webasto Automotive Glass Business.

Axel Berning held various management positions at the Webasto Group since 2012. He has been Vice President Purchasing and Supplier Quality and, thus, signed responsible for the European Procurement of the Group. He then took over the lead for the strategic Project Verticalization in Glass in Webasto Group. Before joining Webasto Group, Axel Berning has worked for BMW, Siemens and Schindler in various management and leadership roles in supply chain, purchasing and quality. Axel Berning studied mechanical engineering and graduated in 1994.
